Coffs Harbour

Where the mountains meet the sea, Coffs Harbour is located approximately 570kms North of Sydney (6 hours by car) or 470kms South of Brisbane (5 hours by car).

Virgin Blue, Qantas and Tiger Airways all fly in to Coffs Harbour daily from Sydney. Countrylink rail services are also available in addition to national bus transport. Car hire is also available and we recommend Thrifty.

The coastline of the Coffs Coast remains relatively unspoilt with patrolled beaches available a short drive from the resort.  There are plenty of surf beaches available and an estuary waterway at Moonee Beach which is perfect for families who enjoy the great outdoors.

The hinterland of Coffs Harbour has many beautiful areas to explore including Dorrigo National Park with its magnificent waterfalls, waterholes in the Friday Creek area and some picturesque drives through Nana Glen and surrounding areas.  Heritage Park Estate 7 minutes north of the resort has many wild kangaroos to see in their natural habitat.

There are several other natural attractions to enjoy such as whale or dolphin watching, sea kayaking and surf rafting, kayaking in Bongil Bongil National Park, snorkelling at Solitary Island, deep sea fishing and white water rafting.

Tourist attractions include The Big Banana, The Pet Porpoise Pool, The Butterfly House, Tabatinga, The Clog Barn, Kegel 9 Pin Bowling, Carobana, Raleigh International Raceway, Golf, Two Tails Winery and lots more. Visit www.coffscoast.com.au for more information.

The climate in Coffs Harbour is sub tropical with pleasant autumn and spring weather, hot summers and mild winters. Any time is a good time to visit.
